Purab Kohli's basic approach to look fit in commercial

Actor-anchor Purab Kohli, currently seen in a seductive shirtless avatar in a television commercial for a soap brand, tried basic techniques to look fit in the advertisement.

In the commercial for Wild Stone's soap for men, Purab goes shirtless while playing football with children. However, the actor was surprised when he was approached to feature as a tough man with sex appeal.

"I'm glad to have worked with an esteemed brand like Wild Stone and talented director Bharat Sikka. I was surprised when they imagined me as rugged, masculine, modern and seductive," Purab, who has worked in movies like "My Brother...Nikhil", "Bas Ek Pal" and "Rock On!!", said in a statement.

"This is the first time I went shirtless for a TVC and to achieve the form one sees in the commercial I went down to basics with traditional free hand workouts and natural diet," added the actor, who has become the new face of Wild Stone's ad campaign.

The commercial has been directed by Bharat Sikka.
