Three Indians -- Purav Raja, Ranjit Virali-Murugesan and Prajnesh Gunneswaran -- qualified for the singles main draw of the $50000 KPIT ATP Challenger at the Mhalunge Balewadi Tennis Complex here on Sunday.
In the final round qualifying, doubles specialist Purav upset second seeded Petros Chrysochos of Cyprus 6-1, 6-3 in less than a hour.
Third seeded Ranjit ably snuffed the challenge of fifth seed Siddarth Rawat 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-3 in a tough match, while sixth seeded Prajnesh upset fourth seeded Mohit Jayaprakash 7-5, 6-4.
Top seed Temur Ismailov of Uzbekistan was the lone foreigner to qualifier as he scored a 6-3, 6-4 win over Nikki Kaliyanda Poonacha.
The qualifiers made three Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) points for their effort.
