QPR's midfielder Sandro sidelined until new year

English Premier League strugglers Queens Park Rangers (QPR) have disclosed that their Brazilian midfielder Sandro would be out of action until the new year.

The 25-year-old was injured in QPR's 0-1 loss away to Newcastle Saturday and was substituted after 61 minutes, reports Xinhua.

Sandro joined QPR on transfer deadline day from London rivals Tottenham Hotspur this season.
