Filmmaker R. Balakrishnan aka Balki, known for his unusual and high on content films, says he loves Marathi movies for their entertainment value and commercial viability.
"I like a lot of good films. I'm a huge fan of Marathi cinema. They are so commercial and so beautiful. Our Marathi films are great, they are mindblowing. I have seen many Marathi films...they are entertaining and big box office earners," Balki told IANS.
The filmmaker's latest movie "Shamitabh", starring Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan in the lead, has received good reviews. It's a story around two individuals, who meet up for a reason, but drift apart due to their ego.
