Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim led Bangladesh's fightback with a resolute undefeated half century to reach 322/6 and trail by 365 runs at stumps on the third day of the one-off cricket Test against India here on Saturday.
Rahim, who got to his Test career's 3000 runs in the final over of the day, was unbeaten on 81 runs with promising all-rounder Mehedi Hasan also getting to his maiden fifty and unbeaten on 51 runs when the umpires removed the bails for the day.
Earlier, seasoned all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan (82) and Rahim, rescued the visitors from a precarious 109/4 with a 107-run fifth wicket stand before Rahim and Hasan went undefeated by putting 87-runs for the seventh wicket.
