Taking forward the plan to promote "Poorna", actor-director Rahul Bose has tied up with a budget passenger carrier.
The tie up with IndiGo was announced on Tuesday via a statement. As per the association, the passenger buses at the airport will carry the film's poster, and other things are being chalked out at the moment.
Rahul Bose, who has directed and produced "Poorna", hopes "this partnership turns into a lifelong friendship of shared values".
"It was just a perfect fit to partner with a brand like IndiGo that consistently recognizes and respects the incredible achievements of women. I hope this partnership turns into a lifelong friendship of shared values," Rahul said.
"Poorna" is a biopic about a teenager who became the youngest girl in the world to scale Mount Everest. "Poorna", produced by Rahul Bose Productions, Raay Media Pvt Ltd and Co-produced by Amit Patni, is slated to release on March 31.
Patni, Founder of RAAY Media, also said: "When Rahul suggested we tie-up with the airline, we immediately agreed. Their professionalism, commitment to excellence and 'Girl Power' initiative left us in no doubt that this would be a natural, mutually productive partnership."
Aditya Ghosh, President and Wholetime Director at IndiGo, congratulated Rahul "for creating such a masterpiece and I am confident that the movie will receive love from the audience".
Last year, AirAsia India became the official airline partner of superstar Rajinikanth's Tamil actioner "Kabali".
