Severe rain has killed at least 11 people and injured 23 others in northwest China's Shaanxi province, officials said.
Around 570,000 people have been affected by the rains since last week, Xinhua cited the provincial government as saying.
The rains have resulted in economic losses of 1.75 billion yuan ($285 million).
Nine people died and 11 were injured in Yan'an city. The downpour caused mudslides that destroyed over 900 homes and damaged 1,100 others.
Torrential rain also led to increase in water levels in local rivers and reservoirs, posing a threat to nearby residents.
