Rain likely in Delhi Wednesday

It will be a partly cloudy Wednesday here and light rainfall is likely in some areas, the Met Office said.

"The sky will be partly cloudy. One or two spells of light rainfall or thundershowers could occur in some areas," said an India Meteorological Department official.

The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 32 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature in the morning settled four levels above the season's average at 19.8 degrees Celsius.

The city has received 0.6 mm of rainfall since late Tuesday.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 88 percent.

Tuesday's maximum temperature was recorded one notch above the season's average at 32.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was two notches above the season's average at 17.9 degrees Celsius.
