After two days of incessant rainfall in many parts of Uttar Pradesh, it finally took a break for few days, officials said Tuesday.
The rain took a break for few days and will only return by Sunday. Lucknow would not experience any major rainfall in the next few days and would remain humid, said the regional Met Office.
However, the eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh might receive few spells of rain, said Met officials.
Rains over the weekend have brought down the temperature in Lucknow by over eight degrees Celsius.
The temperature would continue to be "reasonably pleasant" during the week, said the officials.
The minimum temperature in Lucknow was recorded at 29 degrees Celsius Tuesday while the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 32 degrees Celsius.
