According to an official of the India Meteorological Department, the sky will remain cloudy Thursday and rains will occur in parts of the city.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 26 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Wednesday afternoon was warm and cloudy as the maximum temperature settled at 26.9 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year while the minimum was recorded a notch above average at 13.8 degrees Celsius.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was 26.2 degrees Celsius, just below the season's average, while the minimum was 12 degrees Celsius.
