Heavy rains lashed the state capital and some parts of Uttar Pradesh Saturday. The Met Office has forecast rains here till Sunday.
The weather was muggy and dark clouds hovered over the city since Friday.
The weatherman said there would be widespread rains across eastern and western parts of the state.
It also said that some districts of central Uttar Pradesh will have light drizzle.
The maximum temperature here Friday was 22.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 12.6 degrees Celsius.
