Governor Margaret Alva unfurled the national flag in front of a large crowd packing the Sawai Man Singh Stadium here.
She took the salute and inspected the guard of honour from marching contingents amid cheers and thunderous applause.
Personnel from the Rajasthan Armed Constabulary, police, Government Railway Police, Home Guards, NCC cadets and military personnel as well as school children took part in the parade.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was present on the occasion.
The governor honoured 36 officers, employees, police personnel and players for distinguished and meritorious services.
