Rajkumar Gupta, who has directed acclaimed films like "Aamir" and "No One Killed Jessica", is turning producer with romantic movie "Rapchick Romance".
"My next film is 'Rapchick Romance', which is a romantic thriller. The film will go on floors soon, and I will be co-producing the film for the first time with UTV. This would be my first experience as a producer," Gupta told IANS.
The director, whose awaiting the release of his next "Ghanchakkar", a romantic entertainer, says he had plans to turn producer a long time back, but things are only now falling into place.
"Fortunately, all my films have done well at the box office and hopefully if my film 'Ghanchakkar' also does well, it will open doors for me. I will soon turn producer with my next film," he added.
"Ghanchakkar", which stars Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi, is releasing June 28.
