The Rajya Sabha was disrupted Friday over the UPSC aptitude test row, losing its question hour.
The upper house was adjourned twice before noon, as members asked the government to give details of the report over UPSC exams.
A committee headed by Arvind Verma, formed to look into the different aspects of the change in pattern of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam, submitted its report to the central government Thursday.
Opposition members said the government should respond on the problem of several agitating students immediately.
Janata Dal-United's Sharad Yadav and Samajwadi Party's Naresh Agrawal demanded an immediate response prior to the question hour.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu requested the members to cooperate for the question hour to take place. He said the government would give its reply on the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) after the question hour.
However, as the members continued to create din, Chairman M. Hamid Ansari first adjourned the house briefly and then till noon.
