Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant said here that she would either get a BJP ticket or contest independently in the Lok Sabha election. She could also launch a party with a green chilly as its symbol.
Sawant Monday met Jain saint Pulak Sagar to seek his blessings for a new start and informed the media about her plans. She came to Agra for a closed door meeting with the Jain saint.
Sources said she has decided to enter poll fray from Mumbai North-West constituency against Congress leader Gurudas Kamat. Sawant could announce a new party in a day or two.
The item girl said she supported BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and wanted him to become occupy the post.
Sawant told reporters she would continue to act in films but no more "naach gaana", only good roles. She was tired of the "item girl" tag and needs a change.
