UP Governor Ram Naik gets additional charge of Rajasthan

Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik has been given additional charge of Rajasthan as state governor Margaret Alva has completed her term.

Alva, who was Rajasthan governor, was given additional charge of Goa last month after resignation of B V Wanchoo as its Governor.

A press communique of Rashtrapati Bhavan Tuesday said that Gujarat Governor Om Prakash Kohli has been given additional charge of Goa as Alva has demitted office on completing her term.

Alva completed her term as Governor Tuesday. She was appointed Governor of Uttarakhand Aug 6, 2009, and moved to Rajasthan May 12, 2012.
