A three-member probe team has been set up here after the body of an elderly woman kept in a mortuary was allegedly nibbled by rats.
The body had been kept at the mortuary in the Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd's (BHEL) Kasturba hospital.
The 68-year-old woman had died at the hospital on Saturday night. While being taken out from mortuary, her family members noticed bleeding in the body -- and discovered the rat bites.
BHEL's chief health and medical officer A.K. Dave told IANS on Monday that there were wounds in the neck and other parts of the body.
