Real Madrid have agreed to loan out midfielder Lucas Silva to his original team Cruzeiro, both football clubs have confirmed.
The 23-year-old will spend the next 18 months with the Brazilian Serie A outfit as he attempts to revive his stalled career, it was said on Tuesday, reports Xinhua.
Silva joined Real Madrid for $15 million in January 2015 but managed just eight matches for the Spanish giants before being loaned out to Marseille.
He was due to move to Sporting Lisbon in July but a deal fell through when a routine medical exam detected a heart problem.
Silva has since vowed to continue playing, saying that subsequent examinations have ruled out any serious health problems.
