Nine participants, who won the Republic Day contest organised by the information and broadcasting ministry, will get a chance to attend the Republic Day parade on January 26, the ministry said on Wednesday.
In the contest organised between January 1 and 14, the ministry invited entries for the best graffiti and posters on various flagship programmes of the government, including 'Save the Girl Child', 'Start up India' and 'Digital Empowerment' among others.
The invitations were through various social media platforms including the Twitter and Facebook page of the ministry and a specially designed ministry webpage.
Narendra Kumar Singh won the contest for his work on 'Housing For All', while the second prize was won by Narendra Borlepwar for his artwork on 'Skill India'.
