A retired army man was stabbed to death by an unidentified man at his house here, police said Tuesday.
Paras Ram Punj, 70, was killed Monday around 9.30 p.m. in west Delhi's Moti Nagar. He was attacked by an unidentified person when he opened the door of his house after a knock.
"The attacker stabbed Punj several times and fled on a bike driven by his associate," said a police officer.
Punj was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
"Initial inquiry suggests Punj was killed over a property dispute as he had married two women and was at present residing with his second wife," the officer added.
A case of murder was registered and a hunt is on to catch the culprits.
