Los Angeles, April 20 (IANS) Actress Tori Spelling has managed to lose 45 pounds after delivering her fourth child. She says playing soccer and eating healthy helped her get in shape.

After delivering her fourth child Finn with actor Dean McDermott in August 2012, the 39-year-old actress dropped 45 pounds, reports radaronline.com.

Playing soccer with her other kids - Liam, six, and Stella, four helped her in losing extra weight this time. When she became a mother of two, she did lots of sit-ups and lunges that led to fast weight reduction back then.

"I still can't work my abdomen, so it's tough," said the former "90210" actress.

"This time I can't for at least a year, so I've relied on healthy food and cardio. But I think my stomach went back pretty well," she added.

She changed her workout routine few weeks later as there was no progress.

"My doctor suggested I try swimming," said Spelling.

"It's good for the whole body and low-impact since you're weightless. So I started doing that in our pool in January. I don't count laps. I'll swim until I'm sore or play Marco Polo with the kids instead. I also started going on the elliptical and doing modified MMA. Besides my walks, I exercise three times a week for about an hour each time," she added.

While she maintains herself by following a recommended exercise routine, Spelling's husband McDermott gives her a hard time owing to his culinary skills. After she insisted he cook her healthy food, he prepared steamed veggies and salmon for her.

In addition to these, her daily diet chart is all about more healthy dishes. Her breakfast consists of brown rice cake smeared with Smart Balance peanut butter. She snacks on nuts, edamame, hummus and beets with avocado.

She likes to eat green salad and soup. Her day ends with fish or steak and vegetables or she indulges in rice-free sushi like sashimi.

Though she got her body back by watching her diet and exercising, Spelling likes it when her body is fuller.

"I love being pregnant," she said.

"I'm one of those crazy women. It's so beautiful. I love how I am now because I can wear all my clothes, but I wouldn't mind being pregnant forever," she added.
