Singer Rihanna, who was slated to perform at the 58th annual Grammy Awards here, has cancelled her appearance.
The "Umbrella" hitmaker singer arrived at the Staples Centre here on Monday, but did not walk the red carpet. She went to rehearsals and left.
According to sources, Rihanna has been struggling with bronchitis and is on medication, reports tmz.com
A doctor reportedly warned the singer that performing could permanently damage her vocal chords.
She was going to sing "Kiss Me Better". She even rehearsed twice but in the end the show just could not go on.
