Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has grooved to several hit numbers in his heyday, but performing in a "solo item dance" for "Kaanchi" is a "thrilling" experience for the 60-year-old.
The actor will be seen dancing in Subhash Ghai's upcoming film "Kaanchi".
"I'm too thrilled to do this solo item dance with Subhash Ghai after so many years and its just a fabulous song," Rishi, who worked with Ghai in 1980 movie "Karz", said in a statement.
A huge set has been erected for the dance number and over 90 dancers are performing on a tune composed by duo Salim-Suleiman. It is being choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.
Ghai is equally excited about working with Rishi again.
"Rishi is amazing... he has the same passion and energy he had earlier. I love working with him," he said.
"Kaanchi", which also stars Kartik Tiwari and newcomer Mishti, will release Dec 6.
