A 47-year-old man on a motorcycle was shot at and injured by another person on a bike in an incident of road rage after their vehicles grazed against each other in south Delhi, police said on Friday.
The incident occurred on Thursday night at around 10 p.m. A pedestrian informed police that a motorcycle rider was shot by another biker opposite Okhla Sabzi Mandi.
"During investigation it was found that the victim, identified as Mohammad Zaki, received gun shot in his right thigh. The cause of firing is due to their motorcycles touching. The accused fired upon him and escaped from the spot," Deputy Commissioner of Police, Romil Baaniya, said.
"We have detained two suspects and they are being interrogated," Baaniya said.
