Robbers barged into the house of a BSNL engineer here on Wednesday and looted cash, jewellery and other valuables, police said.
The criminals scaled the outer wall of the house and knocked at the main door at Govindpuram. When the engineer's daughter-in-law opened the door, the armed men trooped in.
After terrorizing the young woman and her two-and-a-half-year-old son, the robbers snatched her necklace, ring, ear rings and mobile phone. They bolted the house from outside before escaping.
Hearing her scream, a relative opened the door.
"We have found some clues from CCTV footage. We hope to work out the case soon," said Superintendent of Police Akash Tomar.
