Singer-songwriter Robbie Williams has reportedly bought a holiday home worth nine million pounds (over $130,00,000) in Mustique in the Caribbean. The property is near Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger's house.
Williams and his wife Ayda Field visited the place in May and fell in love with it, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"Robbie's been looking for a home in the Caribbean for some time. He thought about the Bahamas but fell in love with Mustique, and decided to take the plunge last time he and Ayda visited in May," said a source.
"He's had a great year with a sold-out tour which helped sway their decision. Him and Ayda love the privacy of the place," the source added.
The 39-year-old, who received 2.1 million pounds (over $32,00,000) from selling a five-bedroom mansion in Los Angeles, then reportedly decided to buy the property in Mustique, which is part of a group of islands called the Grenadines.
The private island is a hotspot for celebrities like fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, Prince William and Duchess Catherine.
"Seeing as there's only a handful of restaurants, he's bound to bump into famous neighbours. They plan to spend a lot of time there. It's the perfect place to unwind," the source added.
