Fifth seed Frenchman Stephane Robert, seventh seed Oleksandr Nedovyesov of Ukraine and eighth seeded Swiss Marco Chiudinelli scored comfortable wins to enter the main draw second round in the fifth edition of the $125,000 Tashkent Challenger at the Olympic School Tennis Complex here.
In the opening round, Robert saw off a hard serving local wildcard Shonigmatjon Shofayziev 6-2, 6-4 in less than an hour while Chiudinelli scored a 6-1, 6-2 win over 15-year-old wildcard Djurabek Karimov.
Nedovyesov recorded a facile 6-2, 6-4 win over Italian Thomas Fabbiano in just over an hour to make it to last 16.
