Robin Wright wins best actress in TV drama at Golden Globes

Robin Wright was surprised to win an "unexpected" award for the best performance by an actress in TV drama series "House of Cards" at the 71st Golden Globe awards here Sunday.

Wright plays the role of Carrie Underwood in the political drama.

She was nominated for the award along with Julianna Margulies ("The Good Wife"), Tatiana Maslany ("Orphan Black"), Taylor Schilling ("Orange Is The New Black") and Kerry Washington ("Scandal").

Actor Jon Voight won the best performance by an actor in a supporting role in a series, mini-series or motion picture made for television, "Ray Donovan".
