As Roma routed Spal 3-0 on Saturday to move to the provisional third psoition in the Serie A football championship.
Spal's misfortune in this match began with an own goal from defender Francesco Vicari in the 33rd minute, reports Efe.
In the second half, Roma built on their advantage with goals from Radja Nainggolan and Patrik Schick in the 52nd and 59th minutes.
Roma are currently in third place in the Serie A standings with 67 points.
Meanwhile, Spal have only had two wins in the entire Serie A season, and hang one point above the relegation zone in 17th place with 29 points.
