Ronaldinho could be seeking a new club the next football season, according to his brother and agent, Roberto Assis.
In an interview to Brazil's Radio Grenal, Assis said Ronaldinho had not yet decided if he will continue with Atletico Mineiro beyond the current season.
"We all know that his contract expires in December and the president of the club (Alexandre Kalil) has said that only Ronaldinho will decide what the future holds," Assis said.
According to Assis, the former Barcelona and AC Milan star will wait until the FIFA Club World Cup in December to make up his mind.
Atletico Mineiro qualified for the tournament by winning this year's Copa Libertadores - South America's elite club competition.
"We are taking things calmly," Assis said. "We are going to prepare for the Club World Cup and than we will decide. His focus is on playing well during the rest of the Campeonato Brasileiro."
Ronaldinho, who joined Atletico in June last year, has recaptured his best form for the Belo Horizonte club following a turbulent 16-month spell at Flamengo.
Atletico's Copa Libertadores triumph made Ronaldinho only the fourth player - alongside Dida, Cafu and Roque Junior - to win the Libertadores, UEFA Champions League and World Cup treble.
