Cristiano Ronaldo has thanked fans for giving him a "wonderful and warm" reception during Portugal's first training session in Brazil.
Portugal were one of the last of the World Cup's 32 teams to arrive, having travelled immediately after defeating Ireland 5-1 in New Jersey on Wednesday.
"What a wonderful and warm reception we're having in Campinas. Thank you everyone," Ronaldo wrote on Twitter.
The Real Madrid forward, who has suffered knee and hamstring problems in recent weeks, left training early at the Moises Lucarelli arena with a noticeable limp.
He spent time signing autographs and talking with fans before watching the rest of the session from the sidelines.
Paulo Bento's team begin their Group G campaign against Germany in Salvador Monday.
They will then meet the United States in Manaus on June 22 followed by a clash with Ghana in Brasilia four days later.
