Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney will not hand in a transfer request, the Sky Sports reported here.
Rooney was left "angered and confused" about his position at Old Trafford after manager David Moyes hinted the striker would not be his first choice this season, while he continues to be unhappy at claims at the end of last season from Alex Ferguson that he had submitted a transfer request.
Chelsea have failed with two bids for the England star and looked to be setting for a third with manager Jose Mourinho saying Monday night that Rooney had 48 hours to decide his future.
