Immovable and movable assets worth over Rs.3 crore were unearthed on Thursday during a raid by Lokayukta Police at the house of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) assistant professor Rishi Kumar Singh in the Madhya Pradesh state capital.
The raid at Rishi Singh's house on the MANIT campus here was conducted following a complaint about possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income, Lokayukta Deputy Superintendent of Police Umesh Tiwari told IANS.
The documents seized during the raid included those pertaining to three residential premises, one shop, two farmhouses and three luxury vehicles. Rishi Singh's wife runs a coaching centre.
