News Corporation executive chairman Rupert Murdoch, 84, has announced his engagement to former model and actress Jerry Hall.
After a four-month romantic relationship, the two got engaged over the weekend and have now officially announced this on the Births, Marriages and Deaths page of The Times newspaper, reports dailmail.co.uk.
The classified advertisement read: "Mr Rupert Murdoch, father of Prudence, Elisabeth, Lachlan, James, Grace and Chloe Murdoch, and Miss Jerry Hall, mother of Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel Jagger are delighted to announce their engagement."
"They have loved these past months together, are thrilled to be getting married and excited about their future," said the spokesperson for the Murdoch family.
It's Murdoch's fourth marriage and Hall's first.
The 59-year-old actress' unofficial wedding to Rolling Stone rocker Mick Jagger was declared invalid after they split in 1999.
