Moscow, May 19 (IANS/RIA Novosti) A Russian tourist died in Vietnam after a fight with a compatriot and fellow-traveller in the coastal city of Nha Trang.
The two Russians, who were travelling in Vietnam together and shared a room at a hotel in Nha Trang, entered a heated argument that resulted in a fight, the Tuoi Tre news website said.
In the course of the fight, one of them inflicted a wound in the neck of the other with a glass bottle, cutting his carotid artery.
The victim, who was identified as Yevgeny, was hospitalised but died several hours later.
Yevgeny's attacker, Alexander, escaped after the incident and police across Vietnam have been ordered to prevent him from leaving the country.
