Wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha on Friday said it was a big milestone for him to rack up his second ton in his 20-odd Test cricket career so far for India, as he powered India to 687-6 declared in their first innings with a resolute 106 not out against Bangladesh in the one-off five-day affair here on Friday.

"It is obviously a big milestone for someone who has played 20-22 Tests for India," Saha told reporters after second day's play.

"Sanjay (Bangar, batting coach) bhai told me to play with a straight bat and whenever you are batting with Virat (Kohli) he always encourages you to play your natural game," the Bengal stumper said.

Coming on the back of an unbeaten double century (203*) in the Irani Trophy final, where Saha was also adjudged the Man-of-the-Match, Saha was seen playing more number of lofted shots to put pressure on the opposition.

"This was more challenging from the Irani cup final as that was domestic level and this is an international match," said Saha, whose innings was laced with seven fours and two sixes.

Asked about the dismissal of Kohli (204 off 246 balls) where Saha was asking his skipper to take DRS as he felt the ball missed the stumps in the LBW decision, the Bengal boy said, "Virat said its out. I told him I felt he played the shot stretching himself, so the ball could have missed the stump."

Action replays showed that impact might have been a fraction outside off stump but the verdict went in favour of Taijul Islam and the visitors.

At stumps, India led by 646 runs with Bangladesh batting on 41/1.
