Sam Bailey has been crowned the winner of the tenth season of British singing reality show "The X Factor".
The 36-year-old, who won after he got over a million votes, competed with Nicholas McDonald, 17, to win the finale, held at the Wembley Arena here, reports mirror.co.uk.
As part of her victory, Bailey won a recording contract and she will also support pop star Beyonce Knowles on the British leg of the latter's Mrs Carter world tour in February.
The star-studded finale saw performances by One Direction, Elton John and Katy Perry. Gary Barlow, who is one of the judges of the show, also took to the stage to perform his single "Face to face" with John.
The tenth season of "The X Factor" was judged by Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger.
