Sangita Ghosh learns swimming for TV show (TV Snippets)

Actress Sangita Ghosh, who is currently seen as a caring mother in "Parvarrish Season 2", has learnt swimming for an upcoming sequence in the show.

"In the upcoming track, I had to get into a swimming pool to help my oncsreen daughter. But in real life, I don't know how to swim, and have a phobia of water," Sangita said in a statement.

"But for this sequence, I did learn the basics of swimming and I feel really happy about it as my fear of water has gone away to a certain extent," she added.

Sangita is seen as the onscreen mother of actors Diana Khan (Jassi) and Anuj Pandit (Jogi).

The Sony Entertainment Television show also stars Gautami Kapoor, Vinay Jain and Sandeep Baswana.

Mahhi Vij gets injured on 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'

No pain, no gain - the phrase suits best on actress Mahhi Vij who seems to be having a tough time on stunt based reality show "Khatron Ke Khiladi - Kabhi Peeda Kabhi Keeda".

She has hurt herself several times, including one time while performing a 'suck face' task where the contestants had to put their face in a box full of maggots.

"It has only been three weeks and I have already got hurt so many times. I believe I am prone to injuries because by the finishing point of each task I end up hurting myself," Mahhi said in a statement.

"I get really aggressive while doing the tasks but that's my passion for the show. With each task I have not only become physically stronger but also emotionally," she added.

Apart from Mahhi, "Khatron Ke Khiladi- Kabhi Peeda Kabhi Keeda", which is hosted by actor Arjun Kapoor, also features Sidharth Shukla, Faisal Khan, Mahhi Vij, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Tanishaa Mukerji, Sana Saeed, Aishwarya Sakhuja, Tina Dutta, Vivan Bhatena, Yuvraj Walmiki, Mukti Mohan and Raghav Juyal.

The show was shot in Argentina.

Sanjeeda Sheikh gets 'injured' on 'Power Couple'

Actress Sanjeeda Sheikh, who is currently seen with her husband and actor Aamir Ali on TV show "Power Couple", is said to have got injured while performing a task.

The upcoming episodes, wherein couples will take part in the "Bezubaan Ishq" task, the men will be seen going parasailing as their partners will be on a boat, enacting names of movies which they have to guess.

"While performing the task, Sanjeeda suffered a serious injury when she cut her hand and started bleeding profusely," said a source from the set.

"However, the injury didn't stop her from giving her best and she completed the task," the source added.

Meanwhile, Aamir was seen sceptical to participate in the task when he knew they had to parasail as "he has a phobia of water and heights".

"But even he let go of his fears for his wife and performed well," the source said.

"Power Couple", aired on Sony Entertainment Television, is an adaptation of Israel-based reality show by the same name.

The participating couples undergo tasks, which test them mentally and physically.

Apart from the couple, the show also features Vindu Dara Singh-Dina, Salil Ankola-Ria Banerjee, Shawar Ali-Marsela and Naved Jaffrey-Sayeeda.

The show is hosted by Bollywood couple Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan.

Sana and I are comfortable dancing together: Kunwar Amarjeet Singh

Actor Kunwar Amarjeet Singh, who will be seen sharing the stage with actress Sana Saeed at the forthcoming Valentine's Day special show titled "Ishkiyaon Dhishkiyaon", says they wanted to perform with each other since a long time as they look "comfortable dancing together".

Kunwar Amarjeet and Sana will be seen performing on the era of love with old songs of veteran actor Jeetendra like "Naino mein sapna" to the latest Shah Rukh Khan song "Gerua".

"The experience (of dancing with Sana) was fabulous. Sana and I wanted to perform together from a long time and we finally did it," Kunwar Amarjeet said in a statement.

"She is a great performer and we were so comfortable dancing together. We had some amazing moments especially while doing Jitu-ji's song. In fact Sana used to get equally irritated with the song. Overall, it was a great experience and I am sure people are going to have a great time watching it," he added.

"Ishkiyaon Dhishkiyaon", which will feature a bunch of celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam, Rashami Desai and Arjun Bijlani, will be aired on Star Plus on Sunday.
