Actor-comedian Santhanam is currently working on the sequel to his highly successful 2013 Tamil comedy "Kannada Laddu Thinna Aasaiya".
"Santhanam is playing the lead as well as producing it. The film is being directed by his close friend Rambala," a source close to Santhanam told IANS.
Santhanam and Rambala had worked together on Tamil television comedy series "Lollu Sabha".
"Both of them were supposed to team up a few years ago but things didn't fall in place," the source said.
Reportedly, Santhanam sports thick beard for his role in the film, which has already gone on the floors.
S.S. Thaman has been roped in to compose the music.
