Actress Sarah Jessica Parker is the latest celebrity to join microblogging web site Twitter.
The 48-year-old posted her first tweet on Tuesday -- and already has 459,978 followers.
In her first message, she promoted her new documentary series about the New York City Ballet, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The "Sex and the City" star opted for an extreme close-up shot of one of her eyes as her profile picture on the website.
