Bihar Minister Khurshid Ahmad on Saturday said the Supreme Court's verdict in the Ram temple case is final and everyone should accept it.
The Janata Dal-United (JD-U) leader said construction of any religious place, either a temple or a mosque, should not be done by force. "Using force or a violent path to construct a temple or a mosque is wrong and illegal."
Ahmad also questioned the holding of a 'Dharam Sansad' by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray's mobilisation in Ayodhya for the construction of the Ram temple ahead of the court verdict.
"Case is still pending in the court and its verdict will be final and should be acceptable to all. Why are some people in a hurry to go ahead? All have to wait for the court verdict," he said.
The JD-U, a part of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance government in Bihar, has repeatedly made it clear that the party was not with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the Ram Janmabhoomi issue.
Earlier, Chief Minister and JD-U chief Nitish Kumar said the construction of the Ram temple is not on the party's agenda.
The JD-U had said it would accept the Supreme Court verdict in the Ayodhya title suit for which the hearing will commence in January 2019.
