Three years before his ski accident, Formula One legend Michael Schumacher had made a will of distributing his 750 million pounds (over $1 billion) cash, cars and property empire among his wife and two children.
According to Daily Mail, in 2010, the seven-time Formula One World Champion admitted that he had made a will for the first time, telling a German magazine: "Yes, I have made my testament because I am a family man.
"But it is less about Formula One but because of the things that can happen in everyday life."
On Dec 29, the premonition of "everyday life" came sadly true when he smashed his head on to a rock while skiing at the French resort of Meribel.
Meanwhile, Grenoble hospital authorities said Monday that Schumacher is more stable, but remains in a critical condition a week after suffering severe head injuries in the skiing accident.
"The clinical state of Michael Schumacher is stable as he's under permanent care and treatment," Xinhua reported citing the hospital authorities in a statement. "However, the medical team in charge stresses that it continues to assess his situation as critical."
He has undergone two emergency operations and has been in a medically induced coma since the accident.
