Police Friday arrested a Maoist guerrilla allegedly involved in the killing of Pakur Superintendent of Police Amarjit Balihar.

According to police sources, Sanatan Baski was arrested from Rola village of Pakur district, around 500 km from Ranchi, on a tip-off. Police seized weapons and a laptop, among other things, from Baski.

Balihar was killed July 2 this year when he was returning to Pakur district from Dumka.

This is the second arrest in the policeman's killing. Another Maoist guerrilla, Sapan Desra, was arrested in Dumka district July 9.
