Sensex gains 126 points in early trade

A benchmark index of Indian equities markets, the 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), on Friday was trading at 126.37 points or 0.46 percent up during the morning session.

The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading at 35.85 points or 0.43 percent up at 8,364.40 points.

The Sensex of the S&P Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 27,705.36 points, was trading at 27,700.03 points (at 9.24 a.m.) in the early session, up 126.37 points or 0.46 percent from the previous day's close at 27,573.66 points.

The Sensex has touched a high of 27,729.46 points and a low of 27,657.86 points in the trade so far.
