European football governing body UEFA announced on Wednesday that Serbian match official Milorad Mazic will referee the Super Cup final between Real Madrid and Sevilla on August 9 in the Norwegian city of Trondheim.
Champions League winners Real Madrid and Europa League holders Sevilla will play the Super Cup clash, which will be the first final refereed by Mazic, reports Efe.
The Serbian, born in 1973, refereed his first international game in January 2009.
Mazic, who has officiated at two matches for Real Madrid and a match for Sevilla in the past, was the fourth official in the 2014 Europa League final, which Sevilla won against Portuguese Porto on penalty shootouts.
