A string of events - an exhibition and screening of a documentary, besides others - will be held here for the public next week to commemorated 50 years of the 1965 India-Pakistan war.
"In all, six events are being organised to pay tribute to the collective resolve of the nation and the valour and sacrifice of the armed forces," an official statement said.
The commemoration events started on August 28 with President Pranab Mukherjee laying a wreath at Amar Jawan Jyoti.
The major attraction is a six-day-long exhibition, named 'Shauryanjali', which will be held at the India Gate lawns from September 15-20. The exhibition is open to public.
The exhibition will see recreation of major battle scenes of the war and show cases the role of various arms and services during the war.
Enclosures are also being established by the CRPF, Prasar Bharti and International Red Cross who had a major role to play during the war.
A documentary film on the war would also be shown during the exhibition.
The Armed Forces Symphony Band would be performing at the India Gate lawns in the evening on all days.
Timing for the exhibition is 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a reserved institutional slot from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for students, institutions and departments.
Entry is free for the exhibition which is spread over an area of approximately 50,000 square meters in air conditioned pavilions.
As a culmination of the exhibition, a carnival - Indradhanush is being organised on September 20.
The day-long event would have martial displays by service contingents and music and dance shows by event management companies. On the spot painting competitions, reality and magic shows are also planned during the carnival.
