A sheepherd was injured in an IED explosion near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on Monday, police said.
Abdul Gani was critically injured when an IED went off in Khari Karmara area near the LoC where he had taken sheep to graze, police sources said, adding that he had been taken to hospital for treatment.
Civilian casualties have occurred in the past as well in IED explosions near the LoC.
