Shiv Sena to join Maharashtra government
The opposition Shiv Sena will now join the BJP government in Maharashtra, Chief Minister D. Fadnavis announced here Thursday.
The state cabinet will be expanded Friday to include the Shiv Sena ministers, he said.
Senior Shiv Sena leader Subhash Desai said that the two parties have decided to come together again and run a stable government in the state.
The two parties - allies of 25 years - had split Sep 25 after a bitter spat.
