Shuttler Jayaram enters Dutch Open quarters

Indian shuttler Ajay Jayaram earned a straight games win to enter the men's singles quarter-finals of the $50,000 Dutch Open Grand Prix here Thursday.

The 13th seeded Indian beat Hong Kong's Chun Hei Tam 11-5, 11-6, 11-4 in 21 minutes to proceed to the last eight at the Topsportcentrum Almere.

He will next take on Indonesian third seed Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka Friday who has a 2-1 lead in career meetings over the Mumbaikar.
