Indian shuttler H.S. Prannoy has entered the men's singles semi-finals after a straight games victory at the $125,000 Indonesian Masters Grand Prix Gold here Friday.
In the quarters, fifth seeded Prannoy defeated local 15th seed Riyanto Subagja 21-13, 21-19 in 37 minutes at the GOR Jakabaring in their first career meeting.
The World No.43 Prannoy will take on Malaysian ninth seed Daren Liew Saturday, who took care of Prannoy's sixth seeded compatriot B. Sai Praneeth 21-15, 21-16 in 39 minutes.
Prannoy has the advantage of a 1-0 lead in career matches against the World No.67 Malaysian.
